# Desktop app

> Grein on your desktop, with your own Claude or ChatGPT.

<Note>Grein Desktop is in beta. Get it from **Get the desktop beta** on [grein.studio](https://grein.studio).</Note>

The desktop app runs the full Grein workspace and lets you power the assistant with your own subscription instead of Dia.

## Use Claude or ChatGPT

1. Sign in to Claude Code or Codex on your computer.
2. In the app, open **Agents → Manage agents** and choose **Dia**, **Claude**, or **ChatGPT**.
3. For Claude or ChatGPT, pick a model and reasoning effort in the chat panel.

Requests go through your own account and its limits. The assistant still needs [Pro](/plans).
