# History and export

> Restore earlier versions and export boards.

Both live in the board's **⋮** menu (**Settings & options**).

## Version history <sup>Beta</sup>

Grein saves automatic checkpoints as you work. Editors can also name and save a version.

Open **Version history** to compare a version with the current board (added, edited, removed) and **Restore version**. Restoring saves a recovery copy first.

Viewers can browse but not restore. Free shows the last 5 days; Pro keeps everything.

## Export

**Export → PNG image** or **PDF document** exports the current board.
