Grein gives you an open canvas for a moodboard. Images, video, songs, links, files, and notes all sit on the same board.
1

Start a project

Click New project, pick a template or Blank canvas, and name it after the brief, for example Spring campaign. Projects are private until you share them.
2

Drop in what you already have

Drag a folder of images, PDFs, or documents onto the board. Paste a URL to get a link card, or paste a YouTube link to play the video inline.
3

Find more without leaving the board

Add an empty Image or Video block and click Search to pull stock photos and video from Pexels. Add an Audio block to search sound effects from Freesound or songs on Spotify. See Find media.
4

Add direction

Double-click empty canvas for a note. Give a note a background color to turn it into a card, and pick from 18 Google Fonts under Text formatting. Use a Sketch block to draw over ideas by hand.
5

Group it

Put related blocks in a Composite block with a title such as Colour, Type, or Sound. Split big themes into nested boards. Click Tidy up to pack the board neatly. See Organize your canvas.
6

Share it

To get feedback, click Share and invite people as editors or viewers. They can comment on any block. To show a client, switch the project to Project public. Anyone with the link can then view it without signing in. See Work with others.

Let AI help

On Pro, ask Dia about the board, or have it add to it. On any plan, you can connect Claude, ChatGPT, or another MCP client with your own subscription. Then ask it to sort references into groups or write a summary of the direction.

Limits to know

Images can be up to 10 MB each and files up to 25 MB. Video and audio uploads are 25 MB on Free and 100 MB on Pro. The Free plan includes 2 projects. See Plans.
