Peek is in beta.
Peek looks at your board while you work and suggests what to do next. It works toward the project’s goal, which is the project description.

Turn it on

Peek is off in every project until you turn it on. Click Ask AI, then turn on the switch in the Let Grein help you think row above the message box. The switch only covers the project you’re in, so turn it on in each project where you want Peek. Peek is for people who can edit the project. Viewers and visitors on a public link don’t get it.

Give it a goal

Peek works best when it knows what you’re building. Click the settings icon in the row (Peek settings) to see the goal, then Add or Edit to change the project description. Only the project’s owner can change it.

Choose how often it speaks up

In Peek settings, set Interruptions:
  • Quiet: looks only when you’re idle. A new suggestion waits behind a dot on Ask AI until you open the panel.
  • Subtle: looks now and then, when you’re idle. This is where it starts.
  • Proactive: looks often, even while you work.
Peek only looks again once the board has changed enough to be worth a new idea.

Suggestions

A suggestion shows as a small pill at the bottom of the canvas. Hover or tap it to read it, then click Apply suggestion to have Dia do it, or dismiss it. A new suggestion replaces the last one.

AI requests

On Free, each look uses one of your 100 AI requests for the month, the same as a message to Dia, whether or not Peek finds something to suggest. When they run out, Peek says so under its row and waits until they refill on the first of the month (UTC). Pro has no limit. See Plans. In the desktop app on Pro, Peek runs on whichever assistant the chat is on. With your own Claude or ChatGPT, it uses your subscription instead of AI requests.
